Not as Planned
As expected, there are at least a few roadblocks. The biggest one recently has been movement. While my camera moved perfectly by itself in first person, when I transitioned to using a third person view for a character I lost some functionality in the process. Despite hours and hours of debugging, I'm still in the balance between a character that will do its animations but not move and a character that runs around the world on the completely wrong axes (as seen below).
Let's just say that there's enough spinning to make you dizzy in a matter of seconds.
In other news, the team made it to finals in the Cornell Cup! We will be switching our controller in order to meet the competition specifications and will be presenting in May!
